On June 5, 2010, Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park and Association of International Chemical Manufactures (AICM) worked together with Bayer, Evonik, Vopak and Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical to hold the ”°Open-to-Public Day 2010”± in Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park. Over 180 representatives of the Park, towns and villages nearby, communities, schools and some member companies of AICM and media people attended the event under the theme of ”° High quality chemistry for better life”±.
Participators were invited to the Exhibition jointly held by Bayer, Evonik, Vopak, Shanghai Tianyuan, DSM, Dupont, Lanxess, and PPG Industries. The exhibition displayed safe operation and ”°Responsible Care”± in the course of sustained development. Representatives also paid a visit to the plants of Bayer, Evonik, Vopak and Shanghai Tianyuan Huasheng, saw the input and practice of environmental protection by chemical enterprises.
Yu Dahai, Chairman of AICM noted in his speech that since AICM and 24 member enterprises have signed the ”°Responsible Care: Beijing Manifesto”±, AICM and its members are actively committed to practice and promotion of Responsible Care in China. |
