| Thai IVL merges two Polish units to form Indorama Ventures Poland |

Thai polyethylene terephthalate producer Indorama Ventures, or IVL, has merged two of its subsidiaries in Poland into a single entity, Indorama Ventures Poland, the company said late Wednesday.
The merger of IVL Poland with Indorama Polymers Poland is effective January 2012.
Indorama Polymers runs a 140,000 mt/year PET plant at Wloclawek, Poland.
In June 2011, IVL announced plans to increase its PET production capacity in Poland by 220,000 mt/year to 360,000 mt/year by 2013.
Thai IVL is a holding company for the Indorama Group's PET and purified terephthalic acid assets in Thailand, Belgium, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the US and the UK.
